Euronyl acquires Dutch injection moulder DPI
The Euronyl Plastics group has acquired the Dutch injection moulding company DPI. The previous owner, Coram, which is known for brands such as Tiger and Sealskin, wanted to increase its focus on the design and sales of bathroom accessories.
Because of this strategy DPI became the odd man out in the group, and Coram decided to search for a candidate acquirer.
DPI (Dielco Plastics Industries) is based in Geldrop and counts 80 employees and 60 injection moulding machines. DPI’s main customers are, amongst others, Stokke and Thule. They offer a wide selection of injection moulding techniques such as gas-assisted injection and 2K-injection.
With this takeover Euronyl wants to follow through on their series of successful acquisitions in Belgium and France and invest in the Dutch market. “More future acquisitions in the Netherlands are certainly a possibility,” says Tony Beeuwsaert, CEO of the Euronyl Plastics Group.
In 2007 Euronyl BV, from Beringe, already joined the group. Starting from May 1st, DPI will continue their activities under the name of Euronyl-DPI BV.
